Columbus, OH: May 1, 2019 — WoundWiseIQ landed top honors as a Product of the Year while its parent company, Med-Compliance IQ, was named as a Top 10 Healthcare IT Startup for 2019 by CIOReview.

“We are delighted to name WoundWiseIQ as the Product of the Year for our Healthcare Tech Startups annual edition 2019. WoundWiseIQ brings image analytics that streamlines and automatically documents chronic wounds and their healing progress,” writes Justin Gonsalves, Managing Editor for CIOReview. “WoundWiseIQ’s application allows practitioners to capture wound measurements and tissue color with a few screen taps.”

WoundWiseIQ achieved its top product and startup status by progressing through a vigorous vetting process of interviews administered by CIOReview.

This recognition is the latest of several accolades awarded to the company and its wound analysis technology platform.  In March, The AMDA (American Medical Directors Association) Society for Post-Acute and Long-term Care Medicine awarded WoundWiseIQ top honors in the AMDA Society’s 2019 Shark Tank competition. A live audience of medical and industry related professionals determined the ultimate winner by live, real-time audience vote.

“We are excited that WoundWiseIQ continues to gain recognition from leaders in healthcare technology. There are still many areas of wound care that can benefit from innovative and proven automation. We are working diligently with our customers to deliver customized results in wound documentation and analysis that ensure medical monitoring and reporting accuracy in an efficient and cost-effective manner,” said Gary Ross, CEO of Med-Compliance IQ.

“Most of all, our team is appreciative of our customers and partners, who recognized early on that they are partnering with a dedicated and innovative company that is going to respond and make things happen for them.  This kind of recognition emphasizes the long term viability and value we are providing to wound care specialists and their patients,” Ross said.
